Mrs. Nora Demery 93, of 36 Parrot Dr. Lumberton, NC. She was born March 2, 1925 to the late Burleigh and Annah Oxendine. She departed this life to her Heavenly home on April 25, 2018.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jay P. Demery; three sons, Jay Jr. Demery, Larry Demery and Gary Demery; one daughter, Aronda Demery Scott. She is survived by her daughter, Petrilla Oxendine; two sons, Gary Trent Demery and Alex Demery; ten grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren. She was also a second mother to, Ashely (R.J.) and Ronald Lee Scott; and a host of relatives and friends.
