Eugene Ramsey Oxendine 83, passed peacefully from this life at the noon hour of May 24, 2018 after a gradual decline in health. He was surrounded and supported by his loving family, friends and caregivers as he transitioned to his Heavenly Home. Ramsey was born August 13, 1934.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Willie Kern and Mrs. Katie Oxendine; his grandparents, Mr. William and Mrs. Viola Oxendine. He leaves behind to cherish his memoires loving wife of 58 years, Opal Oxendine; two daughters, Lisa M. and Teresa A.; one son, Wylie; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; two special loved ones, Janet and Paula; and a host of relatives and friends.
