Noreen Ann Powell October 09, 1943 – January 10, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Noreen Ann Powell of Dimondale, Passed away January 10, 2019 at the age of 75. Noreen was born in Patchogue, NY. , October 9, 1943, the daughter of Peter and Helen (Galvin) O’Connell.

After high school, Noreen went on to school to obtain her LPN certificate working in the state of NY for several years. After the birth of her children, Noreen decided that she would open her own in-home daycare, which she ran for over 10 years. She also worked along side with her husband as an office manager for his consulting business.

Noreen had a natural love of caring for others, especially children. She also enjoyed gardening, especially her Rosemary’s, buying and collecting antiques and was quick to volunteer in any way she could. Noreen touched the lives of many people and will be greatly missed.

Noreen is survived by her husband, John Powell; children; Dianne Williams of IA; sons, Timothy (Joan) Williams of IA, Christopher Powell of TX; grandchildren, Colin Williams, Phalen and Duncan Williams; sister, Peggy (Todd) Kovich of PA; nieces, Suzanne Sherry, Krista Shortino, Deidre Elias, Heather and Emily Kovich; nephews, Paul and Michael Shortino. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kent Williams; sisters, Eileen Bolton, Joan Shortino. A Celebration visitation will begin at 1:00 pm Saturday January 19, 2019 at the Mills Funeral Home, Shelly-Odell Chapel, 518 S. Main St. Eaton Rapids, followed by a service at 1:30 pm.

The Celebration will continue after the service with light refreshments in the funeral homes banquet facility. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Children’s Miracle Network or the Make a Wish Foundation. Arrangements were entrusted to the Mills Funeral Home, Shelly-Odell Chapel in Eaton Rapids.
