Travis Lee Tripp June 13, 1970 – January 07, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Travis Lee Tripp of Eaton Rapids, Passed away January 7, 2018 at the age of 48. Travis was born in Lansing, MI. , June 13, 1970, the son of Robert and Jerrene (Kowalk) Tripp.

In his younger years he enjoyed being a Cub Scout and was a graduate of Eaton Rapids High School class of 1988. He worked for many years with Granger Construction before becoming disabled. Travis was a member of the Labor’s Union Local 998 and the Operator’s Union Local 324.

He liked to hunt, fish, go mud bogging and 4-wheeling. Travis was a jack of all trades and a backyard mechanic. His favorite thing was collecting auto parts so that he could create unique vehicles.

Travis was ahead of his time with some of his creations. He is survived by his sisters, Dakota Thomas of Lansing, Kimberlee Tripp of Eaton Rapids, Jerrene (Abel) Reyes of Lansing, Denise Tripp of Eaton Rapids, Priscilla Tripp of Eaton Rapids; 2 nieces; several cousins; many friends and his dog, Precious. Travis was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Corey Tripp.

Graveside services will take place at a later date in Bunker Cemetery. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Diabetes Association, Kidney Foundation or to the family. Arrangements were entrusted to the Mills Funeral Home, Shelly-Odell Chapel in Eaton Rapids.
