O’dell N. “Dell” Hamblin September 20, 1936 ~ December 8, 2018 O’dell, 82, passed away at home on December 8, 2018 in Sunset after battling cancer. He was born on September 20, 1936 to Melvin M. and Della Arave Hamblin in Clearfield, Utah. O’dell married Lynda Keller on April 7, 1959.

They were sealed in the Ogden Temple on December 6, 2006. He worked for Maw Equipment and retired after 42 years as a farm and industrial mechanic. He was active in the LDS Sunset Third Ward for 54 years.

O’dell is survived by his by his wife of 59 years; two sons, Kyle Hamblin and Chad (Lila) Hamblin; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held on Friday, December 14, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
