Orpha’s Obituary Orpha Louise (Lugg) Franges, passed away peacefully in the company of family on Sunday, January 20th, 2019. Born October 26, 1923 in Pen Argyl, she was the daughter of the late George Dewey and Annie Agnes (Andrews) Lugg. She is the wife of the late Charles James Franges, who passed in 2004.

They had been married for almost 60 years at the time of his death. Throughout Orpha’s life, her greatest joy was always found in spending time with her children. Whether it be her sons, grandchildren, or in most recent years her great grandchildren, Orpha will be remembered as the best mother and “nana” to all that knew her.

SURVIVORS Sons: Skip, Tim, and Jim, as well as five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her three brothers Donald, George, and Norman Lugg. SERVICE Family and friends are invited to call 9 – 10 a.m., Thursday, January 24, 2019 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. 326 Main Street – Hellertown followed by the service at 10 a.m. The interment will be private.
