Obituary of Patricia A. Bussard Patricia A. Bussard, 80, Marion, passed away at 8 p.m. on Friday, March 8, 2019. She was born and raised on the Island of Kaua’i, Hawaii, on March 2, 1939, to John C. and Mary Rapozo. At age 18, Patricia left the Island of Kaua’i and joined the Army, where she met her first husband, Maurice E. Anderson, who died in 1989.

She married Hugh Eugene “Smokey” Bussard in 1979, and he also preceded her in death. Patricia retired from Foster-Forbes Glass Company after 25 years of service. Her high school yearbook said, “To know her was to love her”.

That held true for her entire life. She was the most giving, kind, and compassionate mother, sister, and friend. She had a passion and zeal for life and her family.

She never met a stranger, always talking to everyone like she had known them her whole life. She loved to listen to music and dance. She enjoyed watching her grandkids play sports, never missing a game if she could help it.

She also loved bird watching, flowers, and going to the movies. Her presence will be forever missed on this earth, but a little piece of her will live on in her children and grandchildren. Survivors include her children, Denise A. Ciscell, Danny E. Anderson, June M. Brown, Krissy J. Bussard, and Aaron B. Bussard; step-children, Hugh Eugene Bussard Jr., Daniel (Jenny) Bussard, and Tammy (Scott) Tyree; siblings, Patrick (Evelyn) Rapozo and Marie Waters; grandchildren, Danny Percy Jr., Zachary A. Payne, Sarah L. Brown, Kyle Anderson, and Patrice Fee; step-grandchildren, Shawn Bussard, Alicia Bussard, Tia Bussard, Shannon Beach, Chad Tyree, and Scott Tyree; great-granddaughter, Layla Anderson; and many loving nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and two husbands, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Terry Lynn Anderson; step-son, Terry A. Bussard; brother, Russell Rapozo; granddaughter, Mary Ann Percy; and son-in-law, Robert L. Ciscell. The family will receive visitors from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13, 2019, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave. , Marion, IN.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 14, 2019, at the funeral home with Father Christopher Roberts officiating. Burial will follow at Grant Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Paul Catholic Church, 1009 W. Kem Rd.
