Patrick C. Lively, 82, of Zanesville, died at 2:46 A.M. on Friday, July 6, 2018, at Grant Medical Center, Columbus. He was born April 7, 1936, in Pax, WV, a son of the late Harry Clinton and Ethel Lafferty Lively. He was the owner of Lively Drywall for forty-six years.

He was an Honorary 33rd degree mason. Pat was a member of Hubbard Lodge #220 F. & A.M. where he served as master in 1975; Ohio Valley Lodge #196 F.& A.M. Akron Ohio; Zanesville Chapter Zanesville #9 RAM Exulted 1975 where he served as high priest 1988, also District Educational Officer for 14th District, past grand marshal; Zanesville council RSM Ohio, joined in 1975 and served as Illustrious Master in 1986; Cyrene Commandery #10 Knights Templar of Ohio, knighted in 1975 and served as commander in 1981; served as Eminent Prior of Ohio #18 Knights of the York Cross of Honors #182010; Holy Rude Conclave Red Cross of Constine, joined in 2003 and served as Sovereign Master in 2014; Kilwinning Council #62 Knights Masons of Ireland, past excellent chief. He served as most Illustrious Grand Master of Royal and Select Masons of Ohio in 2011; Southeastern Ohio Council #119 A.M.D., Cambridge Ohio, sovereign master 1996; Valley of Cambridge A.A.S.R.

commander in chief; grand council of R. & S. Masons of Ohio; Knight Mason USA Donegal Council #94 F. & M.; Galilean Tabernacle # XXIII holy royal arch Knights Templar Priest V.E. Preceptor. He is survived by three daughters, Pam (Ursel) Leep, Phyllis A. (Michael) McNutt, and Paula R. Lively; four grandchildren, Scott (Jennifer) Lively, Michael (Heather) Noss, Clint (Kimberly) McNutt, and Alexis D. Roll; nine great-grandchildren; a brother, Guy (Van) Lively; and two sisters, Doris Keogh and Barbara Barrett. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann Lafferty Lively whom he married December 24, 1954 and died April 17, 2013; a brother, Harry Lively; and a sister, Edith Kincaid.

Friends and family may call from 2:00 – 7:30 P.M. on Monday, July 9, 2018 at the North Terrace Church of Christ, 1420 Brandywine Blvd. , Zanesville. Hubbard Lodge #220 F. & A.M. will hold masonic services at 7:30 P.M. Monday, July 9, at the church followed by other Masonic bodies.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, July 10, 2018, with Mr. William L. Meaige officiating. He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery, Sonora. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Diabetic Kid’s Fund, P O Box 751538, Dayton, OH 45475-1538.
