Patsy Lou (Penrod) Douglas 88 of Hillsboro passed away Jan 6 2019 at Hillsboro Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. She was born in Muddy IL on July 2, 1930 to Henry and Fanny (Horton) Penrod. She married William Douglas on March 4, 1951 in Muddy IL.

She worked at Hillsboro Area Hospital as a nursing assistant for over 23 years. She is survived by two sons William H. wife Tessie Douglas of Winnemucca NV and Harold wife Shelly Douglas of Hillsboro, two Grandchildren Matthew Douglas and Mary Jane Green and three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Bill, one daughter Cynthia Douglas and siblings George Penrod, Bert Wallace, Louise Jones, Gilbert Penrod, Woodrow Penrod, Ernie Penrod, Siana Berringer, Jesse Penrod, Helen Baker, Joseph Penrod, Ed Penrod and Delma Schriebner.

She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Hillsboro. Memorials can be directed to Alzheimer’s Association. Funeral services will be Thursday Jan 10, 2019 at 12:00 PM with Rev.

Jeff Hemken officiating at Hough & Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro; visitation will be Thursday from 10:00 AM till service time. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Hillsboro.
