Obituary for Paul Edward Mizell Paul Edward Mizell, 85 passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and friends on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 in Gautier, Mississippi. Paul was a loving husband, father and grandfather. The simplest things brought him joy; fishing with Louise on their boat, “The Big Blue”, watching his son play baseball and listening to his daughter play the piano.
He couldn’t wait for hunting season to be over so he could get ready for the next one. Paul was a faithful employee of Fletcher Construction for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Emmaline Mizell; sisters, Katie Williams and Lillian Gonzales; and brothers, Woodrow, John and Walter Mizell.
He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Louise, his children, Paul H. & Cindy Mizell and Teri L. Mizell; one grandchild, Rachel L. Mizell; sisters-in-law, Sandra and Darryl Prew and Doris Spicer. A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2018 from 1:00 until 2:00pm at Holder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point. A Celebration of Paul’s life will follow at 2:00pm from the funeral home chapel with Fred Ros officiating.
