Obituary for Mrs. Virginia Lee Shoemake McNease • Mrs. Virginia Shoemaker McNease 84, of Gautier, MS passed away on July 9,2018 in Ocean Springs. Mrs. McNease was born on November 19,1933 in Magee, MS. She retired from Singing River Hospital in Pascagoula, MS where she worked as an Associate Administrator for Singing River Hospital System.

She was a member at the First Baptist Church of Pascagoula. She enjoyed volunteering with the Women of Ministry and she also enjoyed working in her yard. She is preceded in death by her husband George McNease, her son Greg McNease, her parents Ezra and Saleta Shoemaker, her sisters Jean Shoemaker, Carolyn Wightman, and her brother Hollis Shoemaker.

She is survived by her daughters Patty (Tommy) Lee of Vancleave, Karen Thibodeaux of Ocean Springs, her son Alan (Lora) McNease of Ocean Springs and her brother W.C.Shoemaker of Kosciusko. She will also be sadly missed by her numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday July 13,2018 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm from the First Baptist Church of Pascagoula.

The funeral service will begin at 12:00 pm from the church sanctuary. Dr. Jay Cook will be officiating the service. Burial will follow in Crestlawn cemetery.
