Paul Elwood Manfull July 31, 1924 – November 06, 2018 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| View Guest Book Entries| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Paul Elwood Manfull, 94, of Tama, passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at Sunny Hill Care Center in Tama. Funeral Services will be held Monday, November 12, 2018 at 10:30 AM at Christ United Methodist Church in Toledo with Pastor Christianson officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Toledo.

Visitation will be held Sunday, November 11, 2018 from 4-7 PM at Christ United Methodist Church in Toledo with a Masonic Service at 7 PM. Paul was born on July 31, 1924, at home in Montour, Iowa, the son of Robert Henry and Erma Marie (Slingluff) Manfull. He graduated from Montour High School in 1943, where he was on the Basketball Team that went to state.

On November 20, 1947, he was united in marriage to Marian Ruth Spire at the Montour Church Parsonage. Paul farmed his entire life. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Toledo, and the Hiram of Tyre Lodge No.

118, A.F. & A.M. His joy in life was farming and his livestock. Survivors include his three children, Peg (Francis) Kinion of Unionville, MO, Pat Willey of Marshalltown, and Robert (Sharon) Manfull of Toledo; six grandchildren, Stephanie (Shane) Kruse, Stacey (Jason) Hines, Heather (Jeff) Duncan, Dustin Willey (Alyssa Mallory), Shannon (Josh) Cox, and Shane (Jess) Manfull; thirteen great-grandchildren, Alexandria, Konner, Logan, and Zoey Willey, Madison Duncan, Allison (Abigail) Pulkrabek, Calvin and Kamdyn Kruse, Zada Hines, Brayden VanValkenburg, Adrienne and Joshua Cox, and Riley Manfull; three sisters, Lois Olson of Marshalltown, Joan (Norman) Gibson of Tama, and Joyce Skala of Toledo; and many nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Marian in 2007; four brothers, Duane, Floyd, Lyle, and Larry Manfull; two sisters, Lucille Merritt, and Donna Steveson; and a niece, Bonnie Sawyer.

A memorial fund has been established.
