Obituary for Paul Amoroso Paul Joseph Amoroso, a longtime resident of Fraser, passed away peacefully September 19, 2018 at McLaren Macomb. He was 59 years old. Paul was born on January 27, 1959 in Detroit, Michigan to Frank and Mary (nee Giampino) Amoroso.

He worked for many years as an assistant manager for Ace Hardware Stores across the area. Paul married his beloved wife, Kathleen Lehmer on December 7, 2006 in Fraser. Outside of his work, Paul enjoyed playing his guitar, listening to music with Kathy, making many instruments from wood, and especially enjoyed spending time with this beloved wife.

Above all, Paul was a strong and resilient person who gave all he had to those he loved. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Paul is survived by his beloved wife Kathleen; cherished children Michael (Johanna) Lehmer, Candice (Justin) Beckwith, and Meg (Fiance Bill Zurbo) Lehmer; loving granddaughter Vanessa; and siblings Joy Meininger, Frank (Char) Amoroso, and Lenny (Ruth) Amoroso.

He is also survived by many cherished nephews, cousins and friends. Paul was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 10am at Assumption Grotto Catholic Church, 13770 Gratiot Ave, Detroit, MI 48205 (South of Seven Mile Rd.
