Paula Ann Martin May 30, 1958 – February 01, 2019 Share this obituary Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Paula Ann Martin, 60, of Kankakee, passed away Friday, February 1, 2019 at Shapiro Developmental Center. A celebration of life will be held from 5-6 p. m. Thursday, February 7th, at the First Baptist Church in Marseilles. A memorial service will start at 6 p. m. Thursday at the church with Pastor Troy Tvrdik officiating.

Seals-Campbell Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. She was born May 30, 1958 in Evanston to Paul and Rosemary (Boetto) Martin. Paula was born with Down’s Syndrome and had been a resident of Misericordia Home in Chicago and then a longtime resident of Shapiro Developmental Center in Kankakee.

At Shapiro, Paula was very happy and received wonderful, loving care. Paula is survived by her mother, Rosemary Boetto Martin of Marseilles; two brothers, Kurt Martin of Minooka and Brock Martin of Marseilles; three nieces and one nephew, Kristin, Jordan, Brooke and Shobi (Prudence) Martin; and aunts and uncles, Ron and Monica Boetto and Dan and Antoinette (Boetto) McGinnis. She was preceded in death by her father; a brother, Paul T. Martin; a sister, Nancy Carol Martin-Oliver; and one nephew, Silas Martin.
