She was born October 7, 1946 in San Pedro, California to Miles Ervin and Mary Odis (Tucker) Johnson. She was a retired Vice President at Security Mortgage Bank in Hot Springs and a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, a son Michael Carl Tisdale, brothers Murl Johnson, Larry Johnson, Miles Ervin Johnson, Jr., and sisters Rachael Lane and Mary Miles Johnson. She is survived by her husband Phillip Tisdale of Friendship, daughter Michelle Leigh Tisdale of Portland, Oregon and grandson Zackary Andrew Tisdale. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
