Pauline Dickerson, 91, of Rock Island, passed away Wednesday December 19, 2018 at Clarissa Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf. Inurnment will be at a later date in Bowling Green, KY. Memorials may be left to Hope Creek Care Centers weighted blanket program.

Pauline was born on January 30, 1927 in Bowling Green, KY, the daughter of Clay and Lovie (Knight) Lamastus. She had been employed as the lead cook at Proctor Hospital and later retired in 1989 from the former Bellwood Nursing Home, both of Peoria. Pauline had been at Hope Creek Care Center for the last year and a half.

She made several friends during her time there and will be missed by many. Earlier in life, Pauline had enjoyed sewing, quilting and gardening, more recently she loved spending time with her family. Survivors include her daughters, Vivian Force, Rock Island, Brenda (Roger) Pittman, Axtell, TX, Deborah (Guy) Beddow, Middleton, ID; grandchildren, Jimmy Pittman, Jerry Pittman and Carlton Pittman of Texas; Katherine Beddow and Walter Beddow of Idaho; and Philip Force of Davenport, Ryan Force of Rock Island and Amber (Force) Carnes of North Pole, Alaska.
