Obituary of Paul Gresham Paul L. Gresham, 89, Marion, went to be with the Lord at 3:38 a.m. on Saturday, June 16, 2018, at Colonial Oaks Health Care Center in Marion. He was born in Vallonia, Indiana, on March 5, 1929, to the late Samuel and Carrie (Gearris) Gresham. Paul married his loving wife, Wanda Hamilton, on December 3, 1948, and she preceded him in death in 2009.

Paul graduated from Vallonia High School and was a truck driver for 33 years with Yellow Freight System Teamsters Local #135. He enjoyed tinkering with small engines and doing mechanical work. Paul loved spending time with his family and especially looked forward to being at the lake and on the boat.

He will be remembered for his commitment to the Lord and to his church at Brookhaven Wesleyan, where he was a member. Paul always gave above and beyond and considered it a ministry to help furnish funeral dinners at the church. He also had a song in his heart and enjoyed listening to gospel music.

He is survived by his son, Donald (Eunice) Gresham, Lakeland, Florida; daughter, Deborah Baskett, Plant City, Florida; grandchildren, Jodie (Derrick) Jordan, Christie (Steve) Grove, Sondra Case, Emily (Dave) Ormiston, Cindy Varney, and Thomas (Tiffany) Varney; 10 great-grandchildren, Derrick, Jr., Deneice, Sophia, Landon, Junior, Braton, Lexy, Ally, Trey, and Trisha; and 1 great-great-grandchild. In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by his brother, Herschel Gresham. The family will receive visitors from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, June 22, 2018, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave.

, Marion, IN. Services to celebrate Paul’s life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 23, 2018, at Brookhaven Wesleyan Church, 2960 E. 38th St., Marion, IN. Pastors Bob Van Cise and John Walton will be officiating with burial following at Gardens of Memory.
