Pearlie Mae Wiggins was born on March 23, 1943 in Star City, Arkansas to Clara Trotter and Parnell Miles. She passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2019. Pearlie grew up in Star City, Arkansas where she attended school.

She furthered her education in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and became a Registered Nurse. Later moving to Kansas City where she met the love of her life. Pearlie gave her life to Christ and attended Morning Star Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor, John Miles; Mt.

Vernon Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor. E.A. Johnson; Cornerstone Baptist Church with Pastor. Greenly and Pastor, Lesley J. Winfield Jr., Mt.

Tabor Baptist Church. Pearlie worked in different auxiliaries of the church and she enjoyed working in church auxiliaries: Choir, Usher Board. Pearlie was a Registered Nurse at Children’s Mercy Hospital and other health care facilities in the Kansas City area.

She enjoyed fishing and camping. She later devoted her life to foster parenting. She leaves to cherish her memory Robert (Keanna) Wiggins El Paso, TX; Benton Wiggins, Donald Wiggins, Isaac (Angie) Wiggins, Eric (Danielle), Franklin Tyrone (Crystal); Jermaine, Filmore Wiggins, a loving daughter Laura Hullaby, all of KCMO; 21 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren.

Three brothers Tyrone Miles of Oklahoma, Wilbert Miles of Oklahoma and Johnnie Jefferson of Monticello, Arkansas; four sisters, Bobbie Allen of Kansas City, KS, Martha Williams of Dermott, Arkansas, Linda Daniels of Selma, Arkansas and Ruby Ashford of Monticello, Arkansas and a multitude of foster children throughout the Division of Family Services along with many other family members and friends. Grandson DeAnthony Smith Love’s you very much. Son Benton Wiggins who couldn’t be present also Loves You very much.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at Lawrence A. Jones Linwood Chapel. Visitation 9:00 A.M. Interment Blue Ridge Lawn Cemetery.
