Peggie Joy Monk, 90, of Lincolnton, resident of Carillon Assisted Living, passed peacefully on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Carillon Assisted Living in Lincolnton. Peggie was born December 14, 1927 in Miami, FL, the daughter of the late Joseph Carl Ripple and Grace Emina Sweeting Ripple. Peggie loved camping, gardening, nature and being outdoors.

Including her parents, she was preceded in death by: her spouse and four sisters. Those left to cherish her memory include: a daughter, Sherrie Monk of Lincolnton; six nieces in Florida, Georgia, New York and Ohio. No formal services are planned.
