Peggy A. Lane, 81 of Shalersville passed away Monday May 14, 2018 at her home with her family by her side. She was born August 23, 1936 in Columbus, Georgia to the late Andrew and Annie Mae (Taylor) Jackson. Mrs. Lane has lived in Shalersville Twp since 1961 and had retired from the Portage County Nursing Home where she worked as a nursing assistant.

Survivors include her children Randy (Alice) Lane of Mentor, Robert A. Lane of Shalersville, Susan (Carl) Hahn of Streetsboro, Karen (Bryan Lajeunesse) Bindus of Stow, 13 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, four brothers and one sister. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert in 2009, her son Tony in 2006, one brother and two sisters. Calling hours will be Wednesday May 16, 2018 from 5-8 PM at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Streetsboro Chapel where funeral services will be 10:00 Am Thursday May 17, 2018 with Pastor Marshall Brandon officiating.
