Obituary for Peggy June Richardson Peggy June Richardson, 83, of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, formerly of Belleville, Illinois, died Monday, December 17, 2018 at Capetown Assisted Living. She was born June 18, 1935 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri to George and Maurine Francka. She and Russell Richardson were married January 16, 1954 at Independence, Missouri.

She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Cape Girardeau, and also a former member of St. Teresa Roman Catholic Church of Belleville, Illinois. She served in the U.S. Navy. She retired from civil service from Scott Air Force Base.

After retirement she enjoyed a successful career as a Realtor. She was a member of the National Association of Realtors. Peggy was truly the most amazing human being EVER!

Survivors include her husband, Russell Richardson of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; two daughters, Sherry Copeland of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Dianna “Dee” Lack of Ballwin, Missouri; one son, Ron (Jeri) Richardson of Belleville, Illinois; one brother, William “Bill” Francka of Lee Summit, Missouri; eight grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren A funeral mass will be at 1:00 pm Thursday, December 20, 2018 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Cape Girardeau with Father Alexander officiating. Burial will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, on Friday December 21, 2018 at 11:30 am. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to The Foundation for Barnes Jewish Hospital, www.
