Peggy Louise Campbell,79, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 7, 2018. Peggy was born October 28, 1939 to Jesse Lee and Grace Alexander Campbell. A graduate of Bethel High School, Peggy worked for over 40 years of service to Cannon Mills and Pillowtex.

She also carried newpapers for the Independent Tribune for over 20 years. Peggy is survived by her son Jeffrey Scot Campbell (Stephanie), grand-daughters Chelsea Elise and Kaysea Marie Campbell, and great-grandson Cian Aleister Snow. She is also survived by brothers John H. Campbell and Melvin B. Campbell.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 13, at 11:00 am at Rocky River Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Dr. Neal Carter will officiate the service. The family would like to extend thanks to the staff of Hospice of Cabarrus County and to Sue Rigot, caretaker, who loved Peggy through this journey of Alzheimer’s.

We are forever indebted to all of you. “And He will raise you up on eagle’s wings, Bear you on the breath of dawn, Make you to shine like the sun, And hold you in the palm of His hand”.
