Life Story for Peggy Williams Peggy Louise Williams, 75, of Pittsburg, passed away at 10:02 p.m., Friday, October 26, 2018 in Heartland egional Medical Center in Marion. Peggy was born December 28, 1942 in Chicago to Joe Burl and Sarah Louise (Burgess) Williams. Peggy was retired having been employed by Franklin-William Bi-County Health Department for many years.
Peggy was a member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church near Paulton. She was a 1960 graduate of Johnston City High School. She enjoyed working in her yard and especially loved to garden.
Peggy has always had a servants heart and she has raised several family members and was a caregiver of several friends over the years. She also loved working in her church. Survivors include her twin brother, Jerry Lindell Williams of Gerard, MO; nieces and nephews, Linda (Glen) Green-Tooke, Tyrone Williams, Marcy (Bradley) Williams, Kevin Williams, Matthew (Ashley) Williams and Jeff (LeAnne) Williams.
She is also survived by several great-nieces and great-nephews; one great-great nieces and several great-great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Bill and Joe Williams. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 30, 2018 in Pyle Funeral Home in Johnston City with Rev.
John Howat officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., on Monday at the funeral home.
