Obituary for Thomas “Marty” Fozzard Thomas Martin “Marty” Fozzard, 55, of Herrin, passed away at 5:30 a.m., Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Shawnee Christian Nursing Center in Herrin. Marty was born July 23, 1963 in Carbondale to Tommy Ray and Lana Kay (Tyner) Fozzard. Marty was a veteran of the United States Navy.

He was of the Christian faith. He enjoyed fishing, watching tv and collecting model cars. Survivors include two sons, Cory Fozzard of Florida and Charlie Fozzard of Las Vegas; two sisters, Terri Lynn Barbaro of Strawn and Cindi Nauman of Herrin; one brother, Brian Fozzard of Roanoke, VA.

; He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a special nephew, Cody Fozzard. Celebration of life services will be 10:00 a.m., on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at the Cambria Christian Church with Rev. R.H. Chitwood officiating.
