Obituary for David Paul Cain David Paul Cain, 65 of Herrin and a former resident of Carrier Mills, passed away at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at his son’s residence in Herrin. David was born April 30, 1953 in Carrier Mills to Donald Eugene and Sybil (Brannack) Cain. He married Catherine Sue Dillard.

She preceded him in death on November 27, 2000. David is survived by five children, Corbett Wilson of West Frankfort, Annetta (Aaron) Austin of Carlinville, Scotty Wilson of Eldorado, Shannon Solomon of Creal Springs and Tim Cain of Herrin; several grandchildren; one sister, Jean Schlag of Harrisburg; two brothers, Edward Lee and Charles Wayne Cain of Harrisburg. He is also survived by several nieces and nepews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and a granddaughter, Akaya Marie Cain. Private family services will be held at a later date. Pyle Funeral Home in Johnston City is entrusted with the arrangements.
