Burial will follow at Hazel Cemetery. Mrs. Mashe passed from this life Tuesday, February 12, 2019, at St. Thomas Rutherford.

Visitation will be held Friday, Feb. 15, 2019, from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at funeral home. Born April 10, 1964, in Shelbyville, TN, she was the daughter of Sheila Elaine Sanders Allen and the late Eastil Lee Allen.

Penny worked as a food inspector for the USDA for 15 years and as a CNT for various assisted living residents in Bedford County. She enjoyed studying genealogy, volunteering several years at the Bedford County Archives, and cheering for the UT VOLS. She loved to travel as she and her husband went on many cruises around the world.

Her favorite thing though, was to love on her 3 grandbabies. Survivors include: husband of 25 years, Mark Mashe; daughters; Kerrie Mae (Keith) Upchurch, and Jennifer (Shawn) Meeks both of Shelbyville; grandchildren, Gavin Upchurch, Riley and Jackson Meeks; brothers, Mark (Connie) Allen of Shelbyville, and Jeff (Misty) Allen of GA.
