Phoebe (Whitten) Willey, 102 and 11 months, of Tuftonboro, passed away Monday, May 21, 2018 in Tuftonboro, NH. She was born June 30, 1915 in Tuftonboro, NH the daughter of the late Joseph and Mamie Whitten and had lived in Wolfeboro, NH for most of her life. Phoebe had worked as an inspector for Malone Knitting Mills in Wolfeboro and had moved to Claremont, NH nearly 40 years ago.

She was a former member of the Tuftonboro Grange. She was the Widow of Charles Willey. Phoebe is survived by her daughters Ruth Willey, Claremont, NH; Diana Sharneck and her husband Michael, Tampa, FL and Florence Perkins, Tuftonboro, NH.

She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Sarah Willey, Wayne Perkins and his wife Joy, Ernest Perkins Jr, David, Gail, Nicky, as well as her great grandchildren Joy & Jay Largena, Amber Perkins, Shane Perkins, and Maria Diamond; her great great grand Derrick Perkins, Arabella Diamond and Caleb Diamond She was predeceased by her brother Charles Whitten and her granddaughter Gwenth. Calling hours will be Wednesday May 23, 2018 from 10:00 to 11:00am at Lord Funeral Home, Wolfeboro, NH. Graveside services will be held at 12:00PM on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Forest Glade Cemetery, Somersworth, NH.
