Obituary for Phyllis Fay Shultz Phyllis Shultz, 77, of West Frankfort, passed away 5:22 p.m., Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at her residence Phyllis was born October 14, 1941 in Vienna to Alfonzo and Nila (Robinson) Craig. Phyllis was retired having been employed by Maytag in Herrin for 27 years. She enjoyed playing with her grandchildren, fishing, baking and shopping.

She was a member of Harmony Freewill Baptist Church. Phyllis is survived by her son, Robert Shultz; two grandchildren, Lucas Dale and Robert Ethan Shultz; one sister Janet Brown; sister-in-law, Marie Craig and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Kenneth and Floyd Craig; one sister, Betty Norton; brother-in-law, Eddie Brown and a niece Lisa Foster.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, February, 15, 2019 at Pyle Funeral Home in Johnston City with Br. Curtis Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Denning Cemetery near West Frankfort.

Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Pyle Funeral Home in Johnston City is entrusted with the arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Harmony Freewill Baptist Church.
