Obituary of Phyllis Garrick Phyllis Evans Garrick, 77, died Thursday, January 10, 2019, in Florida. Born March 23, 1941 in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Richard Phillips Evans and Elzada Norris Evans. Surviving are her sister, Sylvia Evans Peek; three daughters, Debra Pringle Buford, Terri Garrick Conner and Christi Elaine Garrick; grandchildren, Payton Conner and Ashley Conner; an aunt, Betty Ray Evans Murrell; stepdaughters, Sherry Wilson and Kathy Mason and their children and grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Saturday in the Chapel of the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home with Rev. Angela Marshall officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 P.M. to 2 P.M. Saturday at the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home.

Burial will be in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation of SC, 508 Hampton Street, Suite #200, Columbia, SC 29201 or to a charity of one’s choice. Online condolences may be sent to www.
