Quintin Wayne Dickens, age 56 of Lansing, NC died Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at his home. Mr. Dickens was born September 20, 1962 in Chester County, PA to Billy and Annie Blevins Dickens. He was preceded in death by his mother and sister, Vadia Ann.

Quintin was a lifetime mechanic and was always a help to anyone in need to get them back up and running, both in NC and PA where he was a resident of both states. He loved riding motorcycles, camping, fishing and working on hot rods. His nieces and nephews referred to him as “Uncle Greasy” because of his work.

Most of all he loved spending time with his family and the love of his life, his wife Phyllis. Quintin was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend and will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Badger Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Tim Sizemore and Brother Ed Hall.

Burial will follow in the Scott Blevins Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM till 1:00 PM prior to the service. Mr. Dickens is survived by, his wife, Phyllis Darnell Dickens, son, Travis Wayne Dickens (Sheena) of PA, daughters, Charlotte Ann Stringer (Butch) of PA & Tina Marie Miller (Daniel) of West Jefferson, his father, Billy Dickens of Lansing, sister, Billie Lee Burns of PA, grandchildren, Molly Ann Stringer, Dixie Rose Miller, Sadie May Stringer, Jaxon Wayne Dickens, several nieces and nephews.
