Obituary for Homer B. Stoneman Homer B. Stoneman, 66, of Martinsville, passed away, Monday, November 12, 2018 at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital. He was born October 9, 1952, in Martinsville to the late Roy and Ruth Stoneman. .

He was of the Baptist faith and had worked for Basset Superior Lines. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by sisters, Myrtle Seagray, and Freda Smith; and brother Roy E. Stoneman. Mr. Stoneman is survived by his wife of 21 years, Joyce Compton Stoneman; daughter, Susan Hawks; sons, H. B. Stoneman and Joseph Compton; brothers, Bobby Stoneman and James Stoneman; sister, Mary Frances Fowler; and five grandchildren.
