Rachel Amber Salmons age 39, of Ashland, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2018. She was born May 11, 1979 in Norwalk, the daughter of Clifford Lee and Mary Helen Angela (Drake) Salmons Sr. Rachel was an LPN and Dialysis Nurse at Davita Hospital in Galion for the past 5 years. She enjoyed motorcycle rides, gardening, baking and was a great chef.

She was an avid animal lover especially her dog Jackson. Surviving are her parents, Clifford Lee and Mary Helen Angela Salmons Sr. of Polk; her son, Samuel (Cheryl Wentworth) Zudell of Ashland; her brothers, Clifford “Sonny” Lee (Kim Gibbs) Salmons Jr., Christopher (Sandy) Salmons of Ashland and Joseph (Michelle) Salmons of Ashland; her sister, Jamie (David) Rhoades of Ashland; along with her love, Dean Reynolds. There will be a time of Remembrance and Gathering Celebrating Rachel’s Life on Monday, May 21, 2018 at Heyl Funeral Home from 6 till 8:00 P.M. There will be no funeral service.

Memorial contributions may be made in Rachel’s memory to the Ashland County Dog Shelter 1710 Garfield Ave. Ashland, Ohio 44805.
