Rafael Alvarez, 63, of Central Falls, Passed into eternal life June 30th after a brief illness. He was the husband of Glenis (Javier) Alvarez. He was born in Tenares, the Dominican Republic, a son of Cecilia Polanko and the late Eduardo Alvarez.

He was employed at Waleston Alloys as a metal pourer for several years before his illness. Rafael was member of St. George’s Episcopal Chruch in Central Falls and he also was the ‘bell rinnger’ at the church. Besides his wife he leaves 2 daughters, Erika Alvarez on Central Falls and Katy Alvarez of Attlebotpo, MA.

he also leaves two brothers, Herman and Fellito Alvarez of New York and two sisters, Conuelita Polanko of New York and Lilian Alavrez of the Dominican Republic, and also 5 Grandchildren, nieces and nephews. VISITATION will be Friday Evening from 5 until 8 PM in the Coelho Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held SATURDAY morning at 10 in St. George’s Episcopal Church Clinton St. Central Falls.
