Ralph’s Obituary Ralph Glen Cooper Jr. 88, of Granite City, IL, passed away at 11:56 a.m. Thurs. May 16, 2019 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL. He was born July 18, 1930 in East St. Louis, IL to the late Ralph Glen & Mildred (Barnes) Cooper Sr. On Aug.

30, 1952, he and Precidia “Dolly” D. Acoba were married in Honolulu, HI. She preceded him in death Dec. 20, 2013.

Ralph was a U.S. Airforce veteran and later retired from Terro Corp. He enjoyed watching golf, cheering for the Cardinals, playing slots and was an avid wrestling fan. He is survived by 3 daughters: Diana Dunham of Los Angeles, CA, Debra Cooper of Troy, IL and Pamela Muehling of Wentzville, MO; 4 sons: Richard (Hong) Kirkman of Virginia Beach, VA, Gary (Bessie) Kirkman of Houston, TX, Kevin (Debby) Cooper of Summerville, SC and Craig (Stacy) Cooper of Moro, IL; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; 3 sisters: Jackie (Scott) Lawson of Lenoir City, TN, Susie (Bob) Johnson of Troy, IL and Judy Kolassa of Lenoir City, TN; and a daughter-in-law: Judy Kirkman of Sioux Falls, SD.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a son: Robert Kirkman. Private family services will be held at a later date.
