Ralph was born December 2, 1946 in Lindsey, California to Jasper and Zelma West. He enjoyed cooking, fishing and was a big Razorback fan.

Ralph was a member of Rawls Creek deer camp, past Fire Chief, volunteer fireman and city council member. Ralph was preceded in death by his parents and dog, Mesha. He is survived by wife, Becky West of Garland, AR; two daughters, Melissa Strickland and husband, Shawnn of Magnolia, AR and Stacey O’Donnell and husband, Sam also of Magnolia; one brother, Earl West of Texarkana, AR; one sister, Shirley Eddy of Fouke, AR; four grandsons, Kade Strickland of Bryant, AR; Lain Strickland of Magnolia, AR; Austin O’Donnell and wife, Shelby of Magnolia, AR; and Dalton O’Donnell of Magnolia, AR; two granddaughters, Macy Rudd and husband, Gaston of Athens, LA and Karlee Strickland of Magnolia; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jerry Spakes and wife, Julia of Garland, AR; Marshall Lain Tullos and wife, Lillie Mae of Garland, AR; and Peter Matousek and wife, Bethann of Logan, UT; and several friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 15, 2018 at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel on Thomas Street in Stamps, AR with Bro. Bubba Smith and Rev. Pam Jackson officiating.
