Randy Wade Boughton age 54 of Sturgis, Michigan passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at the Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He was born February 16, 1964 in Chico, California son of George and Shirley (Hult) Boughton. Randy resided most of his life in Sturgis and was a graduate of Sturgis High School, with the class of 1982.

He was a licensed auto mechanic, had been employed at American Axel in Three Rivers and loved… Read More » his job working in the maintenance department with his son at Quail Run Apartments. He attended the Christian Fellowship Center in Sturgis and enjoyed working on cars and accomplishing mechanical and home projects.

He is survived by one daughter: Heather (Adam) Haviland of Bronson; two sons: Adam Boughton of Sturgis and Andrew Boughton of Three Rivers; four grandchildren: Alexandria, Niriah and Elizabeth Waite and Jude Boughton; his parents: George and Shirley Boughton of Sturgis; one sister: Sherry (Eric) Fry of Sturgis; two brothers: Gary Boughton and Roger (Darlene Pant) Boughton both of Sturgis and aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers: Raymond Lee Boughton and Allan Paul Boughton. In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place.

A gathering of family and friends to honor and celebrate the life of Randy W. Boughton will take place Sunday, December 2nd from 2:00-4:00 P.M. at the Christian Fellowship Center in Sturgis. The Hackman Chapel of Hackman Family Funeral Homes, 114 S. Nottawa St., Sturgis, MI 49091, 269-651-2331 is entrusted with the arrangements. Memorial donations would be appreciated to the funeral home to help with expenses.
