Raymond A. Rathgeb, 88, of Penn died Sunday, July 8, 2018 in Hempfield Manor, Greensburg. He was born January 24, 1930 in Greensburg, a son of the late Andrew Raymond and Susan Landis Rathgeb. Prior to retirement he was a mold engineer at Hockensmith Corp.

He was a member of Penn Lutheran Church and a veteran of the US Army having served during the Korean War. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, David Rathgeb. He is survived by his wife, Eileen McLaughlin Rathgeb of Penn, four children; Daniel Rathgeb of Penn, Donna Johnson and her husband Robert of Cressen Twp.

, Darrin Rathgeb and his wife Erica of Harrison City, and Debra Rathgeb- Villamayor and her husband Den of NJ, three grandchildren, Nathan Michael Rathgeb, Kaylee Annmarie Johnson and Riley James Rathgeb, and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Thursday from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 6:00 – 8:00pm in the MASON-GELDER FUNERAL HOME, INC. , 201 N. First St., Jeannette.

A funeral service will be held Friday at 11am in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Brush Creek Cemetery, Irwin. To send on-line condolences, visit www.
