Raymond’s Obituary Raymond Albert Stefl, 83, passed away January 31, 2019 in Denton, Texas. He was born in Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania on March 23, 1935 to Rudolph and Mary (Klamar) Stefl. He married Marilyn Kay Delver on March 1, 1959 and they had two children, Tammie and Ray “Tiger”.

Ray was a graduate of University of North Texas and a United States Air Force Staff Sargent. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Ray retired from Denton State School as a director.

Ray was also a member of The Elk’s Lodge, and Knights of Columbus. Ray was an avid football fan, especially Dallas Cowboys and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Ray enjoyed traveling to casinos around the country, especially Las Vegas.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 57 years, Marilyn Stefl and sister, Mary Ann, son-in-law, Brad Gillum. Survivors include his daughter, Tammie Gillum, son, Ray Stefl and wife, Celia, brother, John Stefl and wife, Elaine, and one granddaughter, Lindsay. Dress will be casual; The family will receive friends February 5, 2019 at DeBerry Funeral Directors from 6-8:00 P.M. Funeral service is February 6, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. in the DeBerry Funeral Chapel with Deacon Art Casias officiating.

Interment will be at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.
