Raymond Lee “Sonny” Brewer, 84 of Charlestown, IN passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2018 at his home. Mr. Brewer was born on January 26, 1934 in Louisville, KY the son of Nathaniel and Elenora Schneidmiller Brewer. He was Machinist with the former I.C.I in Charlestown also a carpenter and a United States Army Veteran.

Survivors include his sons, Bryon Brewer of Charlestown and Greg Brewer(Mary) of Greenville, IN; daughter, Denise Brewer of Charlestown; brother, Bill Brewer of Charlestown; sisters, Nancy Miller of Charlestown and Jeannie Slaughter of Otisco, IN; grandchildren, Noah Shields, Charity Shields, Justin Brewer, Lucas Brewer, Matthew Brewer and Sophia Brewer; great-grandchild, Natalie Eichkoltz. Mr. Brewer was preceded in death by his parents, wife Norma Brewer; brother, Robert Brewer; sisters, Sissy Sheckles and Joycie Brewer. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 11:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. and after 9:00 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
