Ray R. Breidegam, 89, of Reading, passed away Thursday, January 3, 2019 in Berkshire Center. He was the husband of the late Louise M. (Schaich) Breidegam who passed away July 15, 2001. Born in Reading, Mr. Breidegam was the son of the late Robert and Lillian (Becker) Breidegam.

He was a 1946 graduate of Reading High School and served in the United States Army. Mr. Breidegam was a truck driver last working for Follmor Trucking in Reading and was a member of Reading Elks Lodge 115. He is survived by his daughters Dawn E. Lott, wife of the late Russell Lott of Lititz; Sandra R. Klemmer, wife of the late Dennis Klemmer of Mount Penn; Brenda L. Spencer, wife of Thomas J. Spencer of Exeter Township and Sheila D. Steiner of Reading and 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Also surviving are his siblings Shirley Barry, wife of Eugene Barry of Shartlesville; Jacqueline Eshbach, wife of Scott Eshbach of Fleetwood and Frank Breidegam, husband of Carolyn Breidegam of Exeter Township. Mr. Breidegam was preceded in death by his son David R. Breidegam, March 4, 2004. The family will receive relatives and friends in Bean Funeral Home 6 Fairlane Road, Exeter Township, Friday, January 11, 2019 10:00 to 11:00 am with a service conducted by Reading Elks Lodge 115 at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Elks Home Service PO Box 1255, Somerset, PA 15501 in memory of Mr. Ray R. Breidegam. Online condolences may be made at www.
