Rebekah “Bekah” L. (Reece) Zoldi, 47, of Connellsville, passed away on January 20, 2019 at UPMC Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh. Bekah was born July 3, 1971 in Columbia, S.C., the daughter of Kathryn F. (Bloom) Snyder and the late John D. Reece. She was a member of the former Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Connellsville and was a member of Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Connellsville.

Bekah was a Geibel graduate in the Class of 1989. She continued on to Seton Hill University and then to California University where she received a degree in psychology in 1992. After graduating from California University, she continued on to the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science where she graduated in the Class of 1995.

She was employed through Healy-Hahn Funeral Home, Pittsburgh as a licensed funeral director. In her downtime, Bekah enjoyed playing and writing music. She was a very proud of being an organ donor and having the possibility of helping others.

Bekah is survived by her husband of 16 years, Stephen G. Zoldi; her mother, Kathryn F. (Bloom) Snyder; step-father, Charles W. Snyder of Connellsville, mother-in-law Sarah(Sally) Zoldi, brother, Jack D. Reece and wife Roi of Oxford, Alabama; step-brother, Vincent L. Snyder and wife Georganne of Elwood City and her step-sister, Kathleen M. Kopf and husband Joseph of Connellsville. Funeral arrangements are under the care and supervision of the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME, INC. 418 North Pittsburgh Street Connellsville, PA 15425.

In following with Bekah’s wishes, there will be no viewing held at the funeral home. Bekah’s funeral Mass will be held at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday at 1pm with Rev. Fr.

Robert Lubic as Celebrant. We ask that everyone please go directly to the church. Interment will be private at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Cemetery, Connellsville.

Bekah’s family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, aides, Shadyside Hospice, Shadyside Hospital, and UPMC East for their kindness and care toward Bekah.
