Obituary of Regina Durbas Regina “Jean” (Hilbert) Durbas, mother of the late John J. Durbas passed away on Friday, December 21, 2018 at Suburban Community Hospital. She was 92. Born in Conshohocken on September 4, 1926, Jean has lived in the Conshohocken area her entire life.

Daughter of the late Regina (Devaney) and Joseph Hilbert, sister of the late Mary Hilbert Sheridan, Albert Hilbert and Lorraine Hilbert Peacock of Conshohocken and John Hilbert of Perkiomenville, many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews. She was a member of St. Matthew’s RC Church. A graduate of St. Matthew’s School, class of 1945.

She worked for the former Bell Telephone Co. for 40 years serving in many management jobs throughout the area. After retirement in 1985 she worked many part time jobs in the community. She was a member of Verizon Telecom Pioneers formally Telephone Pioneers of America.

She was also a member of the Conshohocken Business & Professional Womens Organization. Jean will also be remembered for running the carnival at the “B” field from 1996 through 2001 that kids of all ages attended and enjoyed. Jean’s funeral and interment will be private.
