Rena L. Leasure, 80, of Youngstown, Ohio passed away peacefully Tuesday Afternoon July 24, 2018 at the Cleveland Clinic. She was born November 12, 1937 in Youngstown a daughter of Kenneth C. and Dulcine L. (Schick) Wright Sr. and had been a lifelong area resident. She worked her entire life in the medical field beginning at Southside Hospital, private duty nursing, and receptionist for Dr. Louis Chiaro.

She was a member of the Salvation Army, an avid reader and loved animals and was one of the original volunteers for Angels for Animals, with continuous service for almost twenty five years. She leaves her daughter, Rebecca Fife of Youngstown; two grandchildren, Roxanne (Jeffrey) Farrow, and Bryan Grant Fife. She also leaves five great-grandchildren, Austin, Jay, Benjamin, Vanessa, and Seth.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Grant Leasure, and two brothers, Kenneth C. Wright Jr., and Glenn L. Wright. There are no services or calling hours per her wishes. Arrangements are by the Davis-Becker Funeral Home in Boardman.

There will be a memorial dinner at Angels Hall to celebrate her years of commitment and love for animals. Rena’s family requests material contributions take the form of donations to Angels for Animals, 4750 W. South Range Road, Canfield, Ohio, 44406. Visit www.
