William Moore, 92, died July 1, 2018 at the Inn at Walker Mill. Mr. Moore was born April 21, 1926 in New Castle, PA, son of David and Mary Jenkins Moore. He was a teacher and counselor at Youngstown City Schools.

After retirement he was a substitute teacher at a variety of Youngstown area schools. He was a member of the Disciples Christian Church in Boardman. He enjoyed going to the YMCA, where he was in senior Olympics and was involved with the Camp Fitch work group, known as the “Chain Gang”.

He is survived by two sons, David (Debbie) Moore of Columbus and Paul Moore of Akron; three grandchildren, Joy (Gunner Becker) Moore of Aberdeen WA, Sean and Sydney Moore of Columbus, OH; one great grandchild, Fin Becker; and cousin Peggie Nagy of Youngstown, OH. He was preceded in death his wife C. Marilyn Moore and by his parents. There will be no services or calling hours.
