Boardman- Bradley P. Shultzaberger, 55, formerly of Cleveland, died September 16, 2018 at Hospice of the Valley’s Hospice House. Bradley was born August 21, 1963 in Youngstown, the son of Donald Shultzaberger and Nancy (Williamson) Hull. Raised in Boardman, Brad was a 1981 graduate of Boardman High School.

Shortly after graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army, serving in Germany until his honorable discharge in 1986. For the majority of his career, Brad worked as a security officer for various companies in the Youngstown and Cleveland area, most recently for Simon Southern Park Mall. He was a member of the NRA and had a great love for the outdoors, especially spending time in Amish country and Sugarcreek, Ohio.

Throughout his life, he enjoyed the companionship from owning dogs, and had a special talent in training them. He also enjoyed sports and was a lifelong fan of the Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeyes. In addition to his father, Donald (Bob Paraska) of Lakewood and his mother, Nancy of Boardman, Brad is survived by his sons, Bradley P. (Kaitlyn) Shultzaberger Jr. of Brunswick and Gordon R. Shultzaberger of Germany; three grandchildren, Ryan and Miley Shultzaberger, and Erin Walton; five siblings, William (Margie) Hull III, Julie (Jeff) Bowman, Edward (Kathleen) Hull, Barb (Patrick) Notareschi and Patricia (Matt Cope) Kelley; his fiancée, Jennifer Martin of Youngstown; and many nieces and nephews.

In 2008, Brad was preceded in death by his wife, the former Katherine Irene Borowske; and his step-father, William Hull Jr. A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Davis-Becker Funeral Home, 8536 Market St., Boardman with Pastor Russ Adams officiating. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. and Thursday from 10-10:45 a.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made in Bradley’s name to Hospice House, 9803 Sharrott Road, Poland, Ohio 44514.
