Boardman – Barbara J. Hudson, 65, died September 1, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Barbara was born June 27, 1953 in Youngstown, daughter of Charles and June Copeland Snyder. She was a 1971 graduate of Boardman High School and went on to get an Associate Degree from Youngstown Business College in Accounting.

Barbara was a sales manager and agent for Western Southern, where she retired after 25 years. She was a member of Christian Assembly Church in Boardman. Barbara enjoyed playing bingo, cross stitching, listening to country music, and playing slot machines.

Her true passion was her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Jack, whom she married Feb. 18, 1990; one daughter, Sarah (Adam) Crawford of Boardman; one step-son, Robert (Cindy) Hudson of Beaver Valley, PA; three grandchildren, Nicholas Crawford and AJ Crawford in Boardman, and Parker Hudson of Beaver Valley, PA; one brother, Charles Snyder of Newton Falls.

She also leaves one niece, Kimberla Gusaski of Campbell and one nephew, Shaun Gusaski of Melbourne, FL She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Shirley Guzaski. Services will be held Thursday at 7:00PM at Davis-Becker Funeral Home, 8536 Market St., Boardman, with Pastor Jerry Hunt officiating. Friends and family will be received Thursday from 6-6:45PM prior to the service.
