Ted James Hardie, 57, of Struthers died Sunday morning October 28, 2018 at Marinelli Manor. He was born April 18, 1961 in Youngstown, OH, son of George and Donna (Taaffe) Hardie and had been a lifelong area resident. Over the years he held several jobs at MASCO, and had participated in the Special Olympics.

Ted had a wonderful sense of humor and had never met a stranger he didn’t like. Ted is survived by his sister, Terry Lynn Carlsen of Mount Sterling, Ohio; his brother, Thomas Hardie of Myrtle Beach, SC. , and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Ted was preceded in death by his parents, and his lifelong girlfriend, Anita Ohlin. A funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday November 2, 2018 at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home in Poland with Pastor James Berkebile officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
