New Middletown – Mary Ann “Lou” Heitzenrater, died August 28, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center. Mrs. Heitzenrater was born February 24, 1928 in Bradford, PA, a daughter of Lloyd and Olive Stewart Good. Lou was a homemaker and always enjoyed family, neighbors, and friends dropping in for a cup of coffee and talking together.

She also enjoyed crocheting, playing the accordion and organ, cooking for the family and having Sunday dinners. She studied at the Kingdom Hall Jehovah Witnesses in New Castle and Springfield. Her husband, Roy, whom she married Nov.

24, 1946, died in 1990. She is survived by two daughters, Jacqueline (Ronald) Duvall of Dover and Debra Arena of Farrell, PA; two sons, Gary Heitzenrater of Edinburg and Timothy Heitzenrater of New Middletown; 9 grandchild, 17 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, Lou was preceded in death by one daughter-in-law, Kathy Heitzenrater.

Services will be held Wednesday Sept. 5, 2018 at Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, 11Spring St., Struthers. Interment will follow at Mahoning Presbyterian Cemetery, Pulaski, Pennsylvania.

Friends and family will be received Tuesday Sept 4, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and Wednesday from 10-10:45AM prior to service. Condolences may be sent at www. beckerobits.com.
