Cynthia A. Slosnerick, 59, of Boardman, died Saturday morning, September 15, 2018, with the two most wonderful people in her life, her husband, John, whom she adored, and their beautiful son, Jason at her side. Cindy and John’s marriage was what some could only dream of as they truly adored each other and were always there for one another. They shared 31 wonderful years together traveling on memorable trips, having visited forty-four of the fifty states.

Having her beloved John beside her for everything she had gone through made all the difference in the world and he was truly her angel sent from God. Her beloved son, Jason was her pride and joy and Cindy loved being a mother to him. She could not have asked for a finer son.

Taking care of her husband and son, and making a loving home for them was her greatest joy in life. She loved the trips they went on together as a family and she enjoyed cooking for them. Cindy enjoyed collecting purses, reading, cooking, golfing, and watching football, especially her Pittsburgh Steelers.

She enjoyed writing about her family’s trips and special days they had so John and Jason could read them and be reminded of the special memories they had together. Cindy also wrote two children’s books for her son when he was younger, which will be his to cherish forever. Cindy’s husband and son are so ever grateful to the doctors and their staffs for the wonderful care she had received throughout her illness.

Cindy was always thankful for her wonderful friends who were not only there for her, but prayed for her continuously, especially her closest friends, Carol and Denise. Cindy never stopped believing that she, her husband, and son will once again be together before our loving God who truly blessed her with these two amazing men. Until then, as she had told them both many times, “If you ever need me, just close your eyes and I’ll be there for you.

I love you both so much”. A prayer service will be held at 9:15 a.m. on Saturday September 22, 2018 at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, 270 N. Main St., in Poland followed by a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Church in Poland with Msgr. William Connell officiating.

Friends may call from 4-7:00p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Visit www. beckerobits.com to send condolences.
