OBITUARY Rene Ramirez Sr. August 1, 1954 – July 11, 2018 Play Tribute Movie Rene Ramirez, Sr. entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at a hospital in Jourdanton, Texas at the age of 63. He was born on August 1, 1954 to Raul Ramirez and Virginia Sanchez in Falfurrias, Texas. Rene worked for many years as a self-employed laborer in the construction and mechanical industries until he became disabled.

He enjoyed making people laugh and was always the life of the party. He liked the Cowboys and the Longhorns sports teams and enjoyed spending his free time at the game rooms playing “las maquinitas”. Rene was welcomed into the gates of Heaven by his parents and brother, Luciano “Chano” Ramirez.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories his wife, Sylvia C. Garcia of Falfurrias; two sons, Rene Ramirez, Jr. and Jaime Rene (Natasha) Ramirez both of Falfurrias; three daughters, Michelle Gonzalez of Edinburg, Texas, Erica Linda (Ruben Morales) Ramirez of Falfurrias, Crystal Guerrero of Falfurrias and step-children, Hector Guerrero, Jr. of Falfurrias, Veronica Gonzales of Falfurrias and Lorena Guerrero of Hebbronville, Texas. Rene was also blessed to have numerous brothers, sisters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with Visitation to begin at 5:00 p.m. FAMILY Wife, Sylvia C. Garcia of Falfurrias; two sons, Rene Ramirez, Jr. and Jaime Rene (Natasha) Ramirez both of Falfurrias; three daughters, Michelle Gonzalez of Edinburg, Texas, Erica Linda (Ruben Morales) Ramirez of Falfurrias, Crystal Guerrero of Falfurrias and step-children, Hector Guerrero, Jr. of Falfurrias, Veronica Gonzales of Falfurrias and Lorena Guerrero of Hebbronville, Texas.

Rene was also blessed to have numerous brothers, sisters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
